Close Protection Driving and Armoured Vehicle Training
Once your principal or employer is in the car - the most important person in the vehicle becomes the driver! Time and time again though, it is in the mobile environment that the greatest hazards are faced and it is the skill of the driver that will determine whether the vehicle and its occupants arrive in safety or evade hostile action. Everyone else is a passenger.
Driving skills are often overlooked by the personal security detail, personal protection officer and close protection team and their employers. On top of standard protective driver training, anyone expected to drive an armoured car, SUV or 4x4 must receive additional training and familiarisation in the unusual dynamics involved in handling these vehicles for the safety of everyone concerned.
Potec runs a range of protective driving courses from 3 to 10 days in duration for close protection operatives, security drivers and chauffeurs. Courses can be run in the UK and overseas as required.
